It's Woman not Woe-man!!

Aren’t you all just tired of reading the papers every single day? There has to be some news of rape, molestation, dowry death, etc. I’m sick of it and I seriously don’t know when it will end. Perhaps the only way to stop this is I women go and live on another planet. But why should we run and hide. We have every right to live on this planet as much as Men do.

I was just thinking if there is any category of women who would be safe against such atrocities and I realised there is none. Because it doesn’t matter what age your are or what sort of clothes you are wearing or what time of the day it is, there are monsters out there. It wouldn’t if you are related to the rapist or we wouldn’t hear stories where fathers rape their own daughters or uncles / cousins rape their own nieces/ cousins. It wouldn’t matter if you are married or single, cause then you wouldn’t hear of marital rapes or dowry related deaths.

I pity those who are making all these videos and pictures trying to make the rapists feel shameful and all. To be honest, I was supporting this and proudly sharing these links on my Facebook wall. But then it dawned on me that some of these offenders don’t even understand English and yet all these videos are in English.And some of them perhaps don’t even have access to the Internet .

Even if they did, why the hell would they waste their time watching a video that would make them feel ashamed. They’d rather be surfing some sleazy website or sending frandship requests to someone.Like seriously I think we should stop with all these videos and all cause I think they are making women seem more helpless than anything. Some of these b#stards might watch the videos and think “Haha what fools these people are, we are going to do whatever the fuck we want anyway!!”

So then how can we stop these crimes from happening? There is only one answer to that stricter laws and punishment for all these crimes. So instead of wasting our time making videos about all the issues, why not do something to make the law more stringent. Maybe people have already tried that and failed, but we have to keep trying or else this will continue. It wouldn’t matter how many times we like, comment and share these videos, as long as these animals are roaming freely out there these crimes will not stop.
